A Very Happy New Year To You.

Firstly here's all my projects for 2011.
Without doubt my best project of the year was my Woolfish Jacket.
Lots of scarves, not many socks.
Crochet things and hats.  I'm so pleased I got my Ripple It All Up Blanket finished.
Phoenix Friendship Blanket Squares ~ don't think I got pictures of all of them.

We had a lovely new year with our friends B and S in Hertfordshire.  We ate well, drank champagne and had an all round good time.

We've taken the decorations down today.  They've been wrapped away in tissue paper ready for next year.

Everything has been packed away in the loft and this tree has gone to the local village hall for recycling.  The tree hardly dropped at all, so cutting it down and putting it straight up was a resounding success.

Taking the decorations down always leaves me a little melancholic but I'm ready to welcome in 2012 with some (not just knitting) resolutions.

1.  Keep knitting up that stash!
2.  Make more socks, I only made 2 pairs last year!
3.  Finish the Summer Granny Square blanket.
4.  One for Mr CN and me, do some decorating.
5.  Try and be more organised.
6.  Take part in the Scavenger Hunt.

I'm not back to school until Wednesday, so I can go to Tuesday morning knitting group at my LYS, making the most of the last day of the holidays.

As always have fun.......................Clicky Needles.

P.S. I have been given a Liebster Blog Award by Stocki ~ how exciting ~ so I'll be posting about that soon.

  2. You've been very productive in 2011, some lovely things there. We took our decorations down at the weekend, it's all looking very bare now, and Mick's back at work today and Daniel and Eleanor are back at school so the house is very quiet too. Hope you enjoy your morning at the knitting group, I wish there was one local to me. All the very best for 2012.
