My Knitty Year

As I've looked back through my pictures for 2012, I realised that I haven't made as much as I thought. This was due in some part to the fact that when I had anaemia I was mostly asleep and when I was awake I wanted to be asleep.  All this sleeping meant I missed valuable knitty time.

Anyhoo, here's what I completed.
Kindle Cosy.
♥ Summer Granny Blanket. ♥
Socks for Mr Clicky Needles.
Monster for DS.
Socks for Me.
Cable Jacket for Me.
Jubilee Bunting for my Classroom.
Felted Flap Bag.
Another Felted Bag.
Asymmetrical Jumper.
Whale Watching Hat.
Swap Bunting.
Socks for Me.
Reversible Sock Yarn Hat.
Lucy Bag (not yet lined!)
Reversible Lace Scarf.
Elves Clock Cosy for Reception Class.
Granny Dolly Blanket.
Cable Hat.
Beach Stripe Surf Blanket.

So, not much at all really.  I have two things in the naughty corner, which I will soon be pulling out and finishing off and I'm going to make more effort in 2013!
After all, we don't need to eat, wear ironed clothes and live a reasonably clean house do we?

Bye for now.......Clicky Needles.

  1. You didn't make very much?!!!!!!!! Anyway it's the quality that counts, all your projects are lovely, and finished! Congratulations on a year's worth of productive clicking. Fiona

  2. You made 100% more than I did, unless you count the new lining for my handbag.

So sorry to hear about the anaemia, my OH is suffering from it, currently, hope you are fit and well now?

    Happy New Year to you!

  3. I wouldn't say that's not much, especially as there are two adult-sized blankets in there. I'm still sorting out my 2012 FOs so I can post about them (need to work out how much yarn I used on a few and take a photo of two recent ones).

  5. I think you may underestimate how much you actually made, I just kept scrolling and scrolling and scrolling thinking 'she can't be right' hehe, besides look at the size of that beautiful granny square blanket, and I bet the cable jumper (which I'm uber jealous of!) must have taken you a-g-e-s!

Well done on a fab 2012 of projects, hope you manage to get your anaemia under control :) x

  8. I think you did a lot more than you realize. Some of those projects could be very difficult (for me). I especially love the socks :)

  11. Looks like plenty to me. Hadn't seen pics of the Beach Stripe Surf blanket before you edged it- and what about Uterus and Baby Hats and blanket squares. But as you say you have to feel like doing it all! Keep up the good work. dojo x
