August Scavenger Hunt

August seems to have come and gone very quickly, anyway, here are my pictures.

Moving

My solar powered fountain.  Chuck it in a bucket of water and you're off!  It even works in the rain!

Boxes

I was struggling on this one and then remembered my thread boxes.  The colours make me happy.

Starts with a D.

The Dog.  Bonkers.

Breakfast

I'm usually a porridge girl but on the really hot mornings this summer I forsake that for granola outside with a book.

Making

I'm not sure I could contemplate life without making.  I am really into embroidery at the moment.

My Own Choice

A walk by the canal with my 14 month old granddaughter.  I am on granny duty once a week and weather permitting we always go here.  She loves the water.

As always, a massive thank you! to Kate for organising.  I'm off here to see what everyone else has come up with.

Scavenger Hunt July.

Time for my July Scavenger Hunt photos, see everybody else's photos here.

Purple

My Buddleja Black Knight.

Green

My new garden bench seat and chair which I bought from our local furniture recycling project.  So comfy and the perfect place for a cup of tea and a bit of crafting.  It is just out of wifi range, to start with I was a bit annoyed, but now, not so much.

Begins with and F

Ferns.  Of course this could have been green too.

Still Life

Bargain sunflowers picked up at the supermarket this week.

Snapped at this moment.

All ready to start my post.

My own choice.

A Singer 99 that I picked up locally this week.  Made in 1917 and still sewing just as it should.  I have been polishing, oiling and sewing with it this week.  Happy days.

So that's my choices, I'm off to look at the other people's photos.

Thanks so much to Kate for organising it all!
