August seems to have come and gone very quickly, anyway, here are my pictures.
Moving
My solar powered fountain. Chuck it in a bucket of water and you're off! It even works in the rain!
Boxes
I was struggling on this one and then remembered my thread boxes. The colours make me happy.
Starts with a D.
The Dog. Bonkers.
Breakfast
I'm usually a porridge girl but on the really hot mornings this summer I forsake that for granola outside with a book.
Making
I'm not sure I could contemplate life without making. I am really into embroidery at the moment.
My Own Choice
A walk by the canal with my 14 month old granddaughter. I am on granny duty once a week and weather permitting we always go here. She loves the water.
As always, a massive thank you! to Kate for organising. I'm off here to see what everyone else has come up with.
I'd love a walk by that peaceful canal right now. Stay safe my friend.
ReplyDeleteI love that goofy dog face.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those walks with the little one!
Canal walking, one of my favourites. Like you I would find life hard if I was not making something. Why didn't I think of my boxes of lovely coloured threads? Must think harder next time.
ReplyDeleteThe boxes were a bit of a last resort! CN x
DeleteLovely pics! I agree with you on the porridge being too hot in summer...have you tried overnight oats? Almost like porridge only cold and with other yummy bits added - its a summery staple here!!!
ReplyDeleteI should try overnight oats, although I think I like my porridge cooked! CN x
DeleteLovely pictures. I've seen those solar bird bath fountains advertised on Facebook but our bird bath is not wide enough. Your canal picture is lovely but for me goofy dog is best!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to have a mad dog around! CN x
DeleteI like the solar fountain, I must see if I can get one from somewhere - something simple like that would be great in my garden :) The book in the pic is one I got a while ago after reading the previous one but I've not got round to reading it yet. I like the canal walk pic but my favourite has to be the dog, it really made me lol :)
ReplyDeleteThe fountain was dead cheap from Amazon I really like it. I didn't realise there was a previous book, must look out for it. CN x
DeleteThe Cornish Cream Tea Bus, it's a sort of prequel to the Cream Tea Summer book. I can also recommend A Christmas Tail, The Canal Boar Cafe and The Once In A Blue Moon Guesthouse all by the same author :)
DeleteSorry, that should be Canal Boat not boar!
DeleteGreat solar fountain, I could even do that! Floss colours and using them are always a happy sight. Your sweet pup looks like ours when he's smiling, adorable! What a lovely place to walk, lucky you.
ReplyDeleteEven luckier to get my granddaughter for a whole day to look after. CN x
DeleteI'd been looking into getting a solar fountain - looks good :D , S'funny how D for .... mostly went to dogs - excellent choice !! Thank you for joining in x
ReplyDeleteI was struggling with any other D, it was the obvious one! Cnx
DeleteLove the box with coloured threads and the canal. Xx
ReplyDeleteAwww, those little doggy teeth. I have my thread stored in those boxes too, it keeps everything nice and neat and tangle free.
ReplyDeleteI saw that solar fountain advertised but I was reluctant to buy it because I had no feedback from anyone who had used one. It looks good in your photo...I'll check it out again now:-) Love the doggie snapshot LOL! Walking with your grand-daughter by the canal sounds perfect to me.... enjoy!! keep well Amanda :-)
ReplyDeleteI saw comments from people who already got their loan from Mr Benjamin Lee a loan officer who offer me loan at the rate of 2% ROI , and I decided to apply under their recommendations and just 5 days I confirmed in my own personal bank account a total amount of $90,000 which I requested for. This is really a great news and I am advising everyone who needs real loan lender to apply through their email : 247officedept@gmail.com or WhatsApp : +1-989-394-3740. I am happy now that I have gotten the loan I requested .
